Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dr.G. Parameshwara today released brochures at Vikasa Soudha inviting applications for four schemes of the Karnataka Arya Vysya Community Development Corporation for 2026–27.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the Corporation was established for the overall development of economically and educationally disadvantaged members of the Arya Vysya community by implementing schemes related to education, self-employment,agriculture and food processing.
Over the past seven years, the Corporation has utilised a total of ₹85 crore,including grants released to it and loan repayments,to provide loans, subsidies and fee reimbursements to 16,785 beneficiaries, achieving 96% progress,he said.
Dr.Parameshwara added that the Corporation has successfully recovered ₹11 crore in loan repayments, while 740 beneficiaries have fully repaid their loans, which he described as a notable achievement.
Applications have been invited for all schemes for 2026–27,with October 15 as the last date for submission.
He appealed to members of the Arya Vysya community to apply in large numbers and make full use of the schemes.
