Young poet and author,Amana J Kumar has added another milestone to her literary journey with the release of her fifth book titled “The Mystical Waves”,an anthology of poetry.
The book was officially released by Prof.C.N.R.Rao, Bharat Ratna awardee and internationally renowned scientist.

Prof. Rao serves as Honorary President and Professor at the Linus Pauling Research Centre and is also an Honorary Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research and the Indian Institute of Science.
The foreword for the book has been written by Banu Mushtaq,winner of the International Booker Prize.
The Mystical Waves is described as a blend of blackout poems and evergreen sonnets reflecting life experiences,emotions,expectations and ecstasy.
The anthology presents a unique juxtaposition of poetic styles aimed at engaging readers through layered meanings and thought-provoking verses.
Amana recently completed her 12th standard from RV PU College,Jayanagar.
She began writing poems and books at the age of 11 while studying in the 6th standard at Bishop Cotton Girls School in Bengaluru.
Prior to this,four of her books have been published — three in English and one in Hindi.
Her published works include Echoes of Soulful Poems, World Amidst the Words,Hindi anthology Lafzon Ki Mehphil, and Galore of Mysteries.

Apart from literature,several of Amana’s articles and stories have appeared in print,electronic media and online portals.She is also known for her academic achievements.
Amana has earned several national and international recognitions, including:
“India’s Youngest Poetess”by the India Book of Records
“Grand Master”title by the Asia Book of Records.
“Kautilya Youngest Poetess of the Year Award” presented by the Governor of Goa.
“Most Prolific Poet”by the Noble Book of World Records for writing 337 poems between 2020 and 2021.
