The Kempegowda International airport police have registered an FIR against 63-year-old passenger from Kerala for sexually harassing a 24-year-old cabin crew on a flight from Beharain to Bengaluru.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim after landing at the airport,the police charged the accused identified as Jacob Alexander,charging him under section 75(2) ( secual harassment ) of BNS.
The incident occurred on May 4, 2026,at around 8:15 PM on board flight GF-280 at Terminal-2.
The woman complainant stated that while she was seated (seat no.18C),the accused touch her inappropriately by moving his hand from under his blanket towards her.She said she immediately objected and warned him.
Despite informing the cabin crew about the incident.The accused later reportedly claimed that the contact was “friendly”and denied any misconduct.
Following the flight’s arrival at Bengaluru airport,the woman lodged a formal complaint with the KIAL police.
Based on her statement,a case has been registered against the accused,and legal action is being initiated. Police are further investigating the incident.
