Two unauthorised drones spotted flying in ISRO no flying zone campus case registered probe on

The HAL police have registered an FIR against unknown person after two drones were found flying in ISRO no flying zone campus .

Based on the complaint filed by Satish Kumar,security officer the police registered a case on Saturday charging the accused under section 329(3) tress pass and also under various sections of Aircraft act for further investigation.

According to a complaint filed by Satish Kumar, Sub-Inspector with CISF Unit URSC (B),ISITE (M),the incident occurred on May 2,2026,at around 8:16 AM.

A drone was allegedly spotted flying at an altitude of approximately 80 to 100 feet above the campus for a duration of 10 to 12 seconds.

The ISITE campus is classified as a highly sensitive and restricted zone and has been designated as a“No Drone Zone.”

Officials stated that any aerial activity without prior authorization in such areas poses a serious threat to security and safety.

Despite clear restrictions,unidentified persons reportedly operated the drone within the prohibited airspace.

Authorities have flagged the violation as a serious concern,emphasizing that such actions could compromise national security.

Police suspect that the drones used by some local for a program happened half a kilometer away from the site. The police are probing with the organizers for further investigation.
