A two-year-old boy was killed after a speeding car allegedly rammed into a scooter and ran over him near Kithaganur main road on Sunday evening.
According to the complaint,the incident occurred around 6 pm when Vijayalakshmi and her son Badri were travelling on a two-wheeler along with two-year-old Trishan.They were heading from Kithaganur towards Margondanahalli Shiva Temple.

When the scooter was halted in traffic in front of Carry Food Super Market,a car allegedly driven at high speed and in a rash and negligent manner from the same direction hit the two-wheeler from behind.
Due to the impact,the child fell onto the road,following which the car reportedly ran over him, causing grievous injuries.
The injured child was immediately shifted to Ovum Hospital in Bhattarahalli.However,doctors declared him dead at the hospital.
The complaint stated that the accident occurred due to the rash and negligent driving of the car driver.KR Puram Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway..
Angry passers vent their ire protested demanding immediate repair of bad roads and ensure traffic decongestion on that stretch.
The KR Puram traffic police rushed to the spot arrested the driver identified as Krishna Mohan Memon charging him under death due to negligence, rash and negligent driving for further investigation..
In another incident,a 45-year-old woman who sustained grievous injuries after being hit by a truc in the limits of the Adugodi Traffic Police Station succumbed to injuries on Sunday night.
The accident had occurred on Sunday when the woman Amala was returning home from church with her son.A truck allegedly rammed into the vehicle,causing her to lose balance and slipped under the truck.
The truck reportedly ran over her legs, crushing both of them severely.
She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.However,despite efforts she succumbed late in the night.
The Adugodi traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
In the third incident,a 35-year-old pedestrian was killed after a two-wheeler knocked him down while he was crossing the road near Nagarjuna Hotel in HAL on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Sardar,a native of Assam.He was working at Nrupathunga Hotel and was on his way home after finishing work when the accident occurred.
Police said the two-wheeler hit him while he was crossing the road near Nagarjuna Hotel in the HAL area. He sustained severe injuries in the impact and died.
The case has been registered at the HAL Traffic Police Station and further investigation is underway.
