CBI Police Arrest Former TTD Son,Daughter including Serving DYSP Over Allegations On Adikeshavalu Close Aide Murder Case relating to criminal conspiracy,cheating,forgery

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday arrested three persons,including a serving Deputy Superintendent of Police,in connection with cases relating to criminal conspiracy,cheating,forgery,and destruction of evidence.

Those arrested have been identified as,D.A.Srinivas,son of late D.K.Adhikesavalu;D.A.Kalpaja,daughter of late D.K.Adhikesavalu and S.Y.Mohan,Deputy Superintendent of Police,presently posted at the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC), Bengaluru.

The arrests were made on December 22, 2025,in cases registered by the CBI following directions from the Karnataka High Court.

The cases pertain to the death of K.Raghunath and other connected matters involving alleged forgery of valuable securities,government stamps and seals,creation of false evidence,and destruction of evidence.These cases were earlier investigated by the State Police.

The CBI said the High Court’s orders transferring the investigation to the central agency were subsequently upheld by the Supreme Court of India.

The arrested accused will be produced before the jurisdictional court and taken into custody till December 29 for further investigation.

The case dated back to 2019 following the mysterious death of Raghunath, a close confidante of D K Adikeshavalu,a former Member of Parliament,who owned huge properties in Bengaluru and other places.

Raghunath,owned many immovable properties in and around Bengaluru after Audikeshavulu death in 2013, Raghunath possessed many properties belonging to Adikeshavulu.

D A Srinivas,son of Audikeshavulu,and others started pressurising Raghunath to transfer a few of the immovable properties owned by him,claiming that the source of income of the properties in his (Raghunath’s) name is of Srinivas’father.

On May 2019,he was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his residence.The police based on the complaint by his son registered an unnatural death report.

Meanwhile on February 2020,Raghunath’s wife registers a complaint alleging that her husband was murdered by Srinivas and others over property dispute .

The police refused to register the complaint and it was forwarded to the police commissioner,but no crime was registered.

Following directions from the magistrate,a private complaint was registered against the accused.As investigation was not completed,Manjula approached the High Court which directed constituting SIT to the probe the case.

The case was later handed over to the CBI who probed in detailed and arrested Srinivas,his sister Kalpaja and the then Inspector Mohan who allegedly helped the accused in the crime .

The accused after Raghunath’s death forged the property documents and registered by tampering the registration process.
