After 28 days suspense and high drama the woman in CD appeared before the metropolitan magistrate and gave her statement before she was escorted to technical cell of Adugodi by SIT to record her statement on Tuesday.
The woman reportedly reiterated her statement given earlier in the video accusing Ramesh Jarkiholi of cheating and sexual assault.
She also deposed before the magistrate that she has not been kidnapped as alleged by her parents.
The SIT officials recorded her statement and taken voice sample.
The official posed over 50 questions and recorded her statement in cameras as per section 161 of CrPC.
The SIT officials questioned her in detail about the incident and her conversation with the family which where she claim that she is not in the video.The SIT officials asked whom she is having threat perception.
The woman replied to all the questions confidently and also submitted a set evidence in the form of pics videos and gifts to corroborate her claim.
The SIT officials assured her protection for which the woman also requested SIT to help her family who are allegedly under the control of accused Ramesh Jarkiholi.
The SIT likely to continue the Investigation by subjecting the woman for medical examination and take her to spit mahazar( inspection) where the alleged crime took place.
She was later escorted to location of her choice where ahe is going to rest amidst tight security
High drama prevailed at the magistrate court on Tuesday When the woman planning to appear before the magistrate after permission granted.
While the police hightened security the venue was changed the location to special court at Gurunanak bhavan in vasanthnagar where the statement was recorded before the magistrate .
Advocate Jagadish Kumar demanded that now the victim recorded her statement the accused should be arrested immediately .
