Continuing investigations into the robbery case,the police have detained four staff on suspicion for their possible involvement .
The police have detained four staff members of the CMS agency in connection with the recent robbery involving a cash-loading vehicle.
The accused include Binod Kumar,the vehicle driver Rajanna and Tammayya,the security personnel and Aftab,cash custodian responsible for loading cash into ATMs.
All four have been questioned,and their statements have been recorded.
According to officials,the interrogation has yielded several crucial leads,and arrests of the suspects involved in the robbery are expected soon.
According to the complaint by Vinod Chandrar, branch manager,around six accused posing as RBI officials intercepted the vehicle near Siddapura Lal Bagh gate,
Bundled Aftab and security guards into their vehicle and asked the driver to follow them.
The accused later stopped the vehicle on flyover near dairy circle,took the cash box containing Rs.7.11 crore at gun point and escaped along with the DVR installed in the van .
Binod Kumar later informed the manager who in turn alerted the office and to the police.The police found in consistency in the statement of the driver and the staff .
