Security turned burglars landed in police net

The East Division police of Govindapura police on Monday arrested a gang of six including five Nepali nationals who were security guards in the night time turned burglars and used to identify locked houses and stole valuables in the daytime. The team recovered Stolen property Worth Rs.10.8 lakhs from them.

The accused have been identified as Meena raj bhat,37,Narayana Sresta,46,Tularam Bhat, 33,Saleem Pasha,24,and Shiva Bandari,37.

Senior officer,told media persons,that their was a house breaking theft was reported in HRBR layout,Based on a theft case reported in HRBR layout, the Govindapura police inspector, Prakash R and his team swung into action and after inspecting the scene of the crime they initiated investigation and gathered technical and scientific evidence from the scene of crime.

The team after analysing CCTV footage in and around the area got a clear picture of miscreants and based on which crime team swung into action and zeroed in on the gang.

After apprehending the gang the team questioned them which led them to confess the crime and based on their statement the team recovered 105 grams of gold valuables,1.2 kgs of silver articles,Foreign currency and cash Rs. 12,000,a bike and car total worth Rs.10.8 lakh from them.

A detailed investigation by the team it has revealed that the accused worked as security guards at the residential apartments, and used to identify the locked houses,by conducting recce for sometime before breaking into the houses.

with their arrest the police managed to solve three house break theft cases reported in the Division.

The accused have been taken into custody for further investigation.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant,has appreciated Addl CP East,S Murugan, DCP East,Dr SD Sharanappa,ACP,KS Jagadish,PI Prakash R,PSI,Mohammed Ali Imran,ASI, Manjunath Shetty,and crime staff as,Sadashiva Belagali,Mohammed khadeer Ulla,Manju S, Shivananda B,Mahesh Kumar,Pratap,BM Hunavad,Fakeerappa Chikkor and other staff has been appreciated for the commendable and exemplary work done by them in nabbing the notorious gang of six security guards who turned as HBT offenders has finally landed in police net and are cooling their heels in jail and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
