Woman Dead Body Found Inside An Auto In Tilak Nagar

A 35-year-old woman was bludgeoned to death by her male friend who later dumped her body in an abandoned autorickshaw on tilak nagar main road on Friday night.

The murder came to light when few passers by noticed the body was alerted the police on Saturday evening.

The police rushed to the spot conducted spot inspection before shifting the body for post mortem.

Probe revealed that the deceased identified as Salma,a widow living with her four children working as domestic help.

Initial investigation revealed that Salman had a relationship with Subramani,a garment factory employee.

The deceased went out with Subramani late in the night witnessed by her children.

This has helped the police to zero in on the accused.

The police also verified the CCTV footage and found that the duo had argued over some issue following which Subramani attacked her with a blunt weapon hitting on her head.

A fatal blow rendered her collapsed and died on the spot following which Subramani sought the help of his friend Senthil,a daily wage labourer to carry the body wrapped in a cloth and dumped the body in the abandoned auto before fleeing the spot.

The police gathered the CCTV footage to corroborate the evidence they have obtained.

Senior police officials visited the spot and set a massive manhunt for Subramani and Senthil who are presently on the run.
