The Girinagar police are on the lookout for two bike borne men who attacked two women with machete to rob their gold chain in Ishwari layout on Sunday.
The victim,Usha and Varalakshmi,home makers were returning home after watching Orchestra during Ganesha festival .
The accused wearing helmet confronted them and demanded valuables.
When the victims tried to resist the accused attacked them with machete and escaped with 10 grams and 45 grams of gold chains from their necks and escaped .
The police have obtained the CCTV footage where the accused was captured riding the bike.
The victim sustained injuries on their hands were treated at the hospital.The Girinagar police have formed a special team to track down the accused .
