Autorickshaw driver pushed roomate in front of moving train and brutally murdered row over girlfriend in Byappanahalli accused arrested

A 26-year-old autorickshaw driver was murdered by his friend over a row over girl friend in Byappanahalli police station limits on Monday.

The deceased Ismail Patvegar,native of Vijayapura was found dead on railway track in Doddanekkundi in Mahadevapura .

The police have taken up a case of un-natural death and probe revealed that Ismail was living in a paying guest accommodation sharing room with his friend Pratap from Chitradurga.

The duo was working as autorickshaw driver.Ismail used to talk to Punitha’s female friend over phone frequently .

Enraged Punith had warned him to stay away and the duo used to fight over this issue regularly,Ismail had decided to kill Punith and took Punith near Doddanekkundi railway track for alcohol party.

The duo had couple of drinks and as per the plan,Ismail started an argument and tried to push Pratap when the train was passing by .

Pratap escaped and pushed Ismail who came under the train and run over.He even called the police and concocted a story that Ismail came under the moving train while trying to record a reel.

But the police who have taken up the case on suspicion questioned Pratap in detail which led him to confess to the crime .

Based on the confession the police have registered a case of murder against Pratap and remanded him to judicial custody.
