Three member bike lifting gang arrested five stolen bikes Worth Rs.3.5 lakhs recovered

The Govindaraj Nagar police on Tuesday arrested a gang of three persons and recovered five bikes worth Rs 3.5 lakh from them.

The accused has been identified as Ashok, Sudeep and Chandrappa.

Senior officer told reporters,during vehicle checking point the accused were caught when the police intercepted the accused riding triple on a bike.The police recovered a dagger from under the seat of the bike and took the trio to the station for questioning.

A detailed questioning led them to confess that they have stolen bikes parked in front of the house in Basaveshwara Nagar, Magadi road and Yeshwanthpura poice station limits.

Based on their statement the Govindarajnagar police inspector, Brijesh Mathew and his crime staff recovered five stolen bikes from them.

Finally Bengaluru Police commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil ACP,P Ravikumar,PI, Brijesh Mathew,and his team for the commendable job done by them in nabbing the trio and recovering stolen bikes a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
