An unidentified woman aged around 40 years found dead in a lake inside Lalbagh on Saturday.
Few visitors who are on morning walk,noticed the body floating in the lake at around 7 am and alerted the police .
The police along with fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot,recovered the body and alerted the FSL team for spot inspection.
There were no visible injuries on her body and police suspected that suicide could be the cause of death,a senior officer,said adding that body has been sent for post-mortem and a report was awaited.
The police have taken up a case of un natural death and verifying the CCTV footage from in and around while checking the missing complaints reported to identify the body .
