With the help of Mane Manege police,the Electronic City Police busted an inter-state drug racket and arrested two “Congolese nationals,recovered 2.15 kilograms of MDMA crystals worth rupees Five crore from them.

The accused Joel Kabong,28,an MBA drop out and full time peddler used to source the drugs from his contacts in Delhi and sell it to his customers majority of them are private firm employees and college students .
The accused had come to city 12 years ago on student Visa and addicted to drugs later joined the peddlers network to sell the drugs,M.Narayana,DCP, Electronic City Division,said .
The racket came to light when police on,PSI and team who are part of Mane Manege initiative,got a tip off about African national carrying a bagpack and operating in the area suspiciously .
The police team in mufti kept a watch on him for two weeks before zeroing in on him red handed.The police recovered 110 grams of MDMA along with electronic weighing machine and few plastic pouches from him.
He was taken into custody and based on his details the police arrested his partner Joy Sunday,22,a BA graduate and resident of Vidyaranyapura.
Probe revealed that Joy used to receive orders from her customers and send Joel to deliver the drugs.
Joy is also part of the network along with her husband identified as Angolano,30,who is presently on the run.
The accused are operating in the city for the many years having links with Delhi based network to get supplies form Mr.Narayana,said .
City police commissioner,Seemant Kumar Singh appreciated the police for cracking the case.A special team has been formed to track down the more accused who are part of the racket.
