Three including truck driver killed after speeding KSRTC bus crashed into parked truck in outskirts

Three people including a truck driver was killed when a speeding KSRTC bus crashed into the parked truck in the outskirts of the city on National highway 48 in the early hours of Saturday.

The deceased have been idenified as,Seenappa (50), the truck driver and his assistants,Nazeer Ahmed (36), and Anand (42).

Senior officer as SP,CK Baba visited the spot and after inspecting the spot and collecting information told reporters that the truck laden with live stock was heading to Bengaluru from Mudhol.While the truck reached Nelamangala,the driver noticed flat tyre and parked the vehicle on roadside to change the tyre .

Meanwhile,the KSRTC,driver heading towards the same directions failed to notice the parked truck and crashed into it.

Due to the impact the trio who were busy changing the tyre crushed to death .

A few passengers and the driver of the bus sustained minor injuries, police said.Further probe is underway.

The Nelamangala traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital.

A case of rash and negligent driving against the driver has been registered for further investigation.

The police probing the truck driver’s possible lapses to follow safety measures while parking his vehicle,which led to the mishap .
