The Kengeri police on Saturday arrested a security guard of a Mall for misbehaving with a woman and assaulted her after she raised objections to his behaviour.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim,the police arrested the accused Chandrahasa,working with Vishal Mega mart charging him under outraging the modesty, sexual harassment,voluntary causing grievous hurt, criminal intimidation and intentional insult to provoke breach of peace .
The accused used to misbehave with the women visiting the mall and the victim who runs a shop near-by noticed and objected.She even raised a complaint with the manager.
Enraged by this the accused on Saturday confronted her and flashed at her hurling abuses at her.The accused even assaulted the victim when she raised objections for his behaviour.
Passers-by rushed to her help and caught the accused before handing him over to the police.The accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody while further investigations are on.
