Haveri (Ranebennur):Birth and death are not in their hands, yet, they often worry about what is beyond their control and ignore what lies within their control—their lives.
Those who live their lives gracefully on the path of dharma lead a truly meaningful life,”said former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai.
He was speaking today at an event held at the Siddeshwara Community Hall in Ranebennur, organized to celebrate the birthday of former BJP Taluk President and leader Parameshappa Goolannavar.
The function also honored auto drivers and senior individuals who have rendered service in various fields. Bommai inaugurated the felicitation ceremony and congratulated the auto drivers.
Bommai said one doesn’t need to go to the Himalayas to perform penance. If they live a cultured life within the society, that itself is meaningful.
Parameshappa is making his life purposeful. By valuing hard work, honoring auto drivers and workers from various fields, and distributing notebooks and scholarships to school children as part of his birthday celebrations, he is setting a great example.
It feels like it’s not just his birthday, but a celebration for all of them. He is celebrating in a truly exemplary way.”I wish him well. He is young and has a kind heart inclined toward service, and surely has a bright future ahead”.
