The Vidhana Soudha police on Saturday registered a case against a man from Mandya for harassing under secretary of Department of Personal Administration and Reforms demanding FDA post on compassionate grounds.
Based on the complaint,by Pratibha K,the police charged Ajay Dutta M N under criminal intimidation for further investigation.
According to the complaint,the accused father working as police constable at KR Sagar police station died on duty on May 2018.As per the rules,the accused had applied for government job on compassionate grounds in May 2019.
The DPAR considering his application verified his qualification offered him SDA post under group C since he has not completed his graduation.
However the accused started insisting that he wanted FDA posting and spammed under secretary with emails demanding to sanction the FDA post and threatened to end his life and blame the under secretary for his extreme step .
This according to the complaint,is harassment and intimidation and requested the police to take legal action.
