The Amruthahalli police on Tuesday arrested a 43-year-old Nigerian National and recovered MDMA worth Rs.3 Crore from him.
The accused identified as Pepe Morepeyi,was caught red handed while he was waiting for his customers behind a school in Dasarahalli .
Probe revealed that Pepe had come to Bengaluru in 2023 on a work visa to sell readymade clothes and involved in peddling drugs.He was overstaying since than and rented a house in Tata Nagar .
The accused confessed that he purchased the drugs from another Foreigner in Kammanahalli,and peddling MDMA to make quick money.Efforts are on to track down his contact .
Pepe has been booked under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and remanded to judicial custody.
