Two Educational Institutions in Bengaluru Raided by I-T Sleuths on suspicion on Tax evasion

ncome Tax officials on Thursday raided two educational institutions in the city,suspected to have evaded taxes.

Sources in the I-T department said the two institutions were on their radar for quite some time.

Separate teams raided various locations of the two prominent educational institutions from early in the morning, sources said.

They said the premises of key persons of the institutions were also searched.

Divyanshree group,Reva institute and Krishna devaraya institutes are in the dock.

The raids focus primarily on three-point program the education institutions are collecting excessive fee from foreign students.

Over 100 officers with 45 teams of IT official carried raids simultaneously in and around the city and recovered documents and electronic equipment for further analysis .
