The Electronic city police have registered a case against senior executive of a Biocon Biologics Limited (BBL), who is on the run with the companies 18 i phones and 56 laptops .
The theft came to light when the accused identified as Subramanya Prasad,senior executive and in-charge of the store room of BBL,stopped coming to work abruptly .
Biju Panikkal Jacob,senior director of the company handed over the charge to another employee who checked the stock and found the laptops and i phones worth Rs.20 lakh were missing .
The company tried to reach Rao but his phone was not reachable .
The laptops and i phones are supposed to be given to the senior leadership members working in the company .
Based on the complaint by Mr.Jacob,the police have registered a theft case and efforts are on to track down Rao.
