A Police Sub Inspector was killed and three others injured when a KSRTC bus crashed into their motorcycles head on in Kaggalipura in Ramanagara on Monday.
The bus was heading from Kanakapura towards Bengaluru when the driver due to rash and negligent driving lost control and crashed into the median jumped the other side of the road and crashed into two motorcycles coming from opposite directions.
The bus later haled after plunged into a roadside drain.
The deceased Nagaraj,serving in electronic city traffic police station was returning home with his daughter Kavya riding pillion.
Kavya and two others sustained severe injuries and rushed to different hospitals in Bengaluru where they are being treated at ICU.
Few passengers travelling in the bus sustained minor injuries.The Kaggalipura police rushed to the spot and probed the incident.
The police have registered a case of death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving against the driver for further investigation.
