Chattisgarh based techie arrested by Whitefield Police for raising Pro-Pak Slogans amid Operation Sindoor

The Whitefield police on tuesday arrested a 25-year-old software engineer for raising Pro-Pak slogans on May 9 while people celebrating Operation Sindoor’s success .

The accused Shubhanshu Shukla,native of Raipur in Chattisgarh,working for an IT firm and living in a paying guest accomodation in Prashanth Layout.

On May 9,the residents of other PGs were celebrating the operation Sindoor Success,Shukla went up to the terrace of the PG and started raising Pro Pak slogans.

Residents baffled for sometime and one of the PG occupant noticed Shukla in the act and recorded his behaviour in his mobile phone,before alerting the police.

The police rushed to the spot and conducted investigations,but Shukla managed to flee by then.

The police later track down the accused and arrested and remanded him to judicial custody.

The accused was drunk and wanted to have fun and see the reactions of the people,the police,said.

On Last Thursday,the Tilaknagar police have registered an FIR against Pro-Kannada activist for insulting the National tricolour during a temple fest .

The Accused Krishnappa along with Jayanagar constituency MLA CK Ramamurthy and other BJP leaders took part in Vinayaka Subramanya temple fest and distributing sweets to the devotees .

The accused later wiped his hand with the National flag which was kept on the table.One of the participants shocked over his behavior recorded his act on mobile phone and shared it on social media which went viral .

Taking cognizance,Manjunath Vastrad,head constable with the Tilaknagar police field a report about the incident based on which Krishnappa and others have been booked for insulting national flag charging him under Prevention of Insult to National honour act for further investigation.

The accused has been issued notice for appear for questioning however he approached the court and got a stay order.
