Traffic movement on the busy electronic City flyover was disrupted as a good vehicle caught fire on Friday morning,leading to major traffic disruption during peak hours for over two hours .
The incident occurred around 8:30 am,on the stretch heading toward the Silk Board junction.
The driver soon after noticing the fire jumped out and managed to escape before the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.
Even though a short circuit at the engine led to the fire , the police and officials are yet to ascertain the reason behind the fire .
The blaze caused traffic to slow down along the flyover and surrounding roads as vehicles piled up on flyover before the police and fire and emergency rescue personnel rushed to the spot douses the fire and pulled out the gutted vehicle aside .
Bengaluru Traffic Police issued an advisory alerting commuters about the disruption.The situation was later brought under control, with the vehicle removed and traffic movement gradually restored.
Few motorists recorded the video of fire and put it out on social media which went viral .

According to the police,a moving car was caught fire due to a Vehicle caught fire,The road from Hebbala Flyover towards Airport Road, is having slow-moving traffic.
