The Viveknagar police have booked a murder case against a 19-year-old student who along with his mother killed his father annoyed for being over strict at home .
The accused sameer and his mother Tabassum,36 have been arrested.
Senior officer told reporters,,the deceased Islam Arab was retired from the army in 2017 and lived with his wife and only son.
The accused was annoyed by Islam for being over strict and used to reprimand him all the time to discipline him.
He was objected to sameer for coming home late and talking to his friends.
Unable to bear this,the son and mother decided to get rid of him.
As per the plan they laced sedative in the dinner and served him.
After having food,Islam went to bed and Sameer tried to strangled him to death after sometime.
islam resisted and the duo had a fight.In the melee sameer overpowered his father and strangled him to death.
He later called the police and cooked up a story that a gang of miscreants had come and killed him after a fight.
The police analysed the CCTV footage and did not find anyone visiting the house.The police found Islam had struggled before his death picked up sameer for questioning.
A detailed questioning led him to confess to the crime based on his statement cops arrested his mother also and further investigation is on.
