The Bandepalya police on Saturday arrested two persons from Tripura and recovered 11.5 kilos of Marijuana worth Rs.6 lakh from them.
The accused who are working in a private firm used to smuggle the drugs from their home town by train and road and supply it to their clients .
The duo was caught red handed while waiting for the customers to deliver the drugs at Somasundarapalya lake following a tip off received by Shivashankar Bantanur,head constable on rounds.
The duo was booked under NDPS act and taken into custody to ascertain their network .
