Man caught by animal activists for unnatural sex with dog in Jayanagar

The Jayanagar police have detained a suspected men and are interrogating him for slashing the private part of a stray dog near Shalini ground in Jayanagar on Friday.

Based on the complaint of animal activist,Vidyarani M, the police have charged the accused under prevention of cruelty to animals act and also under section 325 (mischief by killing or maiming an animal) of BNS for further investigations .

The incident came to light when the complainant visited the ground and noticed a stray dog identified as Ramu, came running to her howling and writhing in pain.She saw two men were absconding in an autorickshaw.

She noticed the dog was bleeding from the private part with a cut injury from a sharp weapon.

She immediately taken the dog for a veterinary hospital for treatment before approaching the police to file a complaint .

The police are now gathering the CCtv footage from in and around the area to identify the absconding accused a case has been registered and further investigation is on.
