14 KRV activist booked by Vidhana Soudha police for protesting in front of KPSC office over alleged corruption

T he Vidhana Soudha police on Monday booked over 14 members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike for protesting in front of Karnataka Public Service Commission office over the alleged corruption which caused injustice to the kannada medium candidates appeared for the exam.

The protestors shouted slogans and tried to lay seige the premises and disrupted the traffic violating the High Court order .

The Vidhana Soudha police who are deployed for security detained the protestors and brought them to the station for legal procedure .
Kumaraswamy SP,Inspector,Vidhana Soudha who is complainant in the case said that the protestors have violated the HC order despite reminders to the organizers and personally informing them on phone denying permission.

The police charged the protestors under section 126 ( wrongful restraint) 189 (unlawful assembly) and section 190 (unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object) for further investigations.
