21-year-old Post graduate student of Bengaluru University ended her life at the hostel in the campus on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Pawana,HN,native of HD Kote and II year student of Kannada study centre and living at Ramabai Ambedkar women hostel .
Pawana was found hanging at her hostel room at around 11 pm the other hostel mates alerted the hostel staff and later informed to the jurisdictional Jnanabharathi police .
The police along with FSL and SOCO team rushed to the spot and conducted the investigation before shifting her body for the post-mortem.
The police are verifying the reason for her extreme step and inquring with the hostel mates and friends for further investigation.
