A 33-year-old man who is part of medical trail subject for a reaserch and product development company, succumbed allegedly due to drug allergy at his brother’s house on Wednesday.
Based on the complaint by Revannasiddappa,younger brother of the deceased Nagesh Veeranna,the police have registered a case under suspicious death for further investigation on Wednesday.
The deceased Nagesh was trail subject for syngene international limited situated in electronic City.
He developed health complications in December last week and was admitted in ICU at Narayana hrudayala hospital .
After recovery he was taken to the company s service apartment for three days to keep him under observation and sent him home.
Since then Nagesh was at his brother’s house in Jalahalli .
On Tuesday the duo had dinner and went to bed.The complainant on Wednesday morning tried to wake his brother but could not.
After repeated attempts he called the syngene company’s doctor Siddanagowda patil and narrated the details
Based on his advise Nagesh was taken to Narayana Hrudayala hospital where the doctor after examination declared him as brought dead.
The complainant said that Nagesh did not have any medical history and the company where he was employed as trail subject had administered him tablets and Injections which led to his death.
The syngene international company deals with the research development and manufacturing of products .
