CCB’s ANW busted Drug racket and arrested two peddlers and seized Yaba Tablets & Ganja worth Rs.3 Lakhs

The Anti Narcotics Cell of the Central Crime Branch officials on busted another drug racket and arrested two peddlers seized 35 grams of Yaba Tablets and 1.7 kilos Ganja worth three lakh from them.

Based on a credible information,the police along with the Parappana Agrahara police raided a apartment in Electronics City Phase-2 and seized the drugs.

The accused according to the police are selling the drugs to college students,known clients,and software employees.A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the two peddlers .

During the interrogation,the accused revealed that they were from the state of West Bengal,living in Bangalore.

In order to lead a luxurious lifestyle and earn money easily, they were procuring prohibited narcotic substances at low prices from West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh and selling them at higher rates.

The accused were produced before the Court and remanded to judicial custody .
