BWSSB Ensures Adequate Water Supply for Aero India 2025 says Dr.V.Ram Prasath Manohar

*Commitment to Meeting Water Demand Without Interruption.

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is fully prepared to meet the water requirements for Aero India 2025, the global air show scheduled to take place at Yelahanka Air Base from February 10 to 14.

In a statement BWSSB Chairman Dr.V.Ram Prasath Manohar said that,under the directive of Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar,necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a seamless water supply for the event.

“The air show will require 4 to 5 million liters of Cauvery water per day.We are capable of supplying up to 25 million liters daily through a dedicated pipeline.

Additionally,contingency plans are in place to deploy water tankers to address any unforeseen disruptions,”he stated.

The Bangalore Municipal Corporation (BBMP) and Public Works Department (PWD) are also making rapid progress with road repairs and infrastructure improvements in preparation for the event.

With various stalls and activities dependent on reliable water access,BWSSB is committed to meeting all demands efficiently.

Dr.Manohar reassured that the current water levels in Cauvery reservoirs are sufficient to handle the requirements.

In the unlikely event of supply disruptions,alternative measures will be promptly implemented to ensure uninterrupted water availability,”he added.
