Hyderabad: Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has criticized the BRS members for acting perversely without correcting the mistakes made in the past . The minister spoke during the discussion on the Bhu Bharati Bill in the Legislative Assembly. It is known that the BRS members insisted on a discussion on the Formula E-race issue and tried to rush towards the Speaker’s podium. In this context, Ponguleti continued his speech on the Bhu Bharati Bill amidst their concerns.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party members are trying to prevent the Bhu Bharati Bill from being passed. Their behavior is embarrassing to the members. The Speaker should take action without hooliganism, violence, and rowdiness in the House. KCR knows that the ‘Dharani’ portal brought during the Bharatiya Janata Party rule is full of mistakes. He has read 80,000 books. We used to think that the Dharani portal was created after examining the books thoroughly. That law has completed a hundred years in just three years. The law made in 1971 during Indiramma’s reign… has been with the people for 49 years. Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Harish Rao gave many suggestions regarding the Bhu Bharati Bill. When this bill was introduced in the House, we expected that the main opposition leader KCR would also make suggestions. We thought that they should be incorporated in the law. KCR did not come… The people in the House are arguing like this. “People don’t appreciate the cheap costumes of the Bharatas,” Ponguleti commented.

Speaker’s anger against Harish Rao

Earlier, Speaker Prasad Kumar expressed his anger over Harish Rao’s behavior. The Speaker spoke during the agitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party members. “Harish Rao’s behavior is causing immense injustice to the people of the state. It is not right to mislead the House. Bhu Bharati is an important bill. It is not right to behave like this during discussions on bills related to the people. Don’t you like this bill? Don’t you like helping the farmers?” the Speaker expressed his anger.
