Nitin Gadkari: Construction of 18 flyovers on highways in AP: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the construction of 18 flyovers on national highways in AP, undertaken with a fund of Rs. 1,046 crore, is in various stages.

 Delhi: The construction of 18 flyovers on national highways in AP, undertaken with a fund of Rs. 1,046 crore, is in various stages, Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said . The minister was replying to a question asked by YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy in the Lok Sabha. ‘The 5 bridges being constructed on NH-216A at Morampudi, Jonnada, Undrajavaram Junction, Thetali and Kaikaram will be completed by April 2, 2025.

We have set a target to complete the two bridges being constructed at Golagamudi Junction and Nellore T Junction on NH-16 by September 11, 2025, the flyover being constructed at Visakhapatnam Airport Junction by February 15, 2025, and the bridge being constructed at Mirchiyard in Guntur by January 6. We have given permission letters for the construction of bridges at Naguluppalapadu Growth Center and Rajupalem junctions on NH-16. We have invited bids for the construction of flyovers at Rajupalem Crossroad, Jonnathali Crossroad, Chevvur Crossroad, Ranasthalam Town Portion on the same highway, and at Kia on NH-44. “Bids are to be invited for the construction of flyovers at Sri City Zero Point and Chillakuru Centers on NH-16,” Gadkari explained
