averi (Shiggaon):Former Chief Minister BS. Yediyurappa questioned whether the present Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would resign from his position if the BJP wins in three constituencies, including Shiggaon, in the by-elections.
Speaking at roadshows in Hulagur and Tadas villages in support of BJP candidate Bharat Bommai, the veteran BJP leader expressed confidence in a Pro-BJP and pro-Prime Minister Narendra Modi wave in these constituencies.
Yediyurappa said no one can stop BJP candidate Bharat Bommai from winning the Shiggaon constituency by a margin of 50,000 votes. His victory is as certain as the existence of the sun and the moon.
The BJP would win in three constituencies in this by-election and sought to know if Siddaramaiah would step down as Chief Minister if that happens. There has been strong support for the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi across these regions.
Recalling his tenure as Chief Minister,Yediyurappa said in addition to the central government’s Kisan Samman Yojana,he provided an additional Rs.4,000 to the farmers.
Why did you stop that? The Congress government has been in power in Karnataka for a year and a half now. Have you built even one kilometer of road or filled a single pothole? Your political theatrics will end after the by-election,”he asserted.
Addressing the voters as brothers, sisters, and mothers, he wanted them to ensure a significant victory for Bharat Bommai.
The event was attended by former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai,Union Minister,Pralhad Joshi, former ministers,C.C.Patil and Rajugowda, among other leaders.
