Four Nepali National Robs Rs.18 Crore worth 18 Kilograms Gold Jewellery and 40 Lakhs Cash From Owner’s House In Vijayanagar

he Vijayanagar police are on the lookout for 32-year-old security guard and three others who is on the run after stealing gold and diamond valuables and cash worth Rs. 18 Crores form the house of his employer on last Friday.

The accused Namraj,native of Nepal had joined as security guard at Arihanth Jewellers situated on Vijayanagar Tollgate pipe line road six months ago.

Since Namraj did not have a house,Surendra Kumar Jain, the employer provided his accommodation at the basement of his house.

Since then Namraj used to take care of terrace garden and also helps the family with the daily chores while working as security guard at the shop.This is to gain the confidence of the family and also to kept a watch on the activities of the house.

On Last Friday Mr.Jain and his family left to his home town in Gujarat to attend a religious fair and returned on Thursday to find Namraj,was missing .

They found the house ransacked and valuables including 18 kilos of gold valuables and diamonds along with the cash Rs.40 lakh was stolen.

The valuables according to Mr.Jain belonging to his wife, mother and sister.Apart from this the Mr.Jain had brought all jewelleries from the shop and kept it at home along with the cash for security reasons.

Based on the complaint,the Vijayanagar police have registered a case of theft by servant and efforts are on to track Namraj.

The accused had switched off his mobile phone and and has fled to his home town,and we are sending our team to Nepal to nab the culprits a senior officer said.
