A 36 year old labourer was killed when Pitbull dog crushed his neck while he was taking rest on the stairs of a neighbouring house in Attur layout Yelahanka on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Narasimha(25) a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
Senior officer told media persons,The incident occurred at around 4 pm when he was taking a break from the work .
The owner of the dog came down from third floor Followed by the dog.Before he could get up and react the dog pounced on him held him by the neck and crushed.
The owner identified as krishti tried to save him and also injured in the melee.
Neighbours heard commotion rushed to his help and managed to rescued narasimha and rushed him to hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
The police have booked Kristi under death due to negligence and are Investigating further.
Pitbull is a ferocious dog banned in many countries said senior officer.
