BPO employee arrested by Whitefield police for stabbing BMTC Conductor for advising not to travel on foot board

he Whitefield police on Tuesday arrested a 25 year old BPO employee for stabbing a BMTC conductor after he was advised not to travel on foot board.

The accused Harsh Sinha,a native of Jharkhand was caught by passengers and handed over to the police while the injured conductor identified as Yogesh was admitted to private hospital,where he is being treated .

Senior officer said the incident occurred at around 7 pm when Harsh Sinha got into the Volvo bus near Vydehi circle and standing on foot board.Conductor yogesh asked him to get in as it was dangerous.

Despite repeated Reminders when harsh did not listen yogesh shouted at him which led to heated argument between them.In the melee harsh pulled out a knife and stabbed Yogesh on his stomach.

Harsh was working in tele performance as a BPO as tele caller and was terminated from service on 20th this month.He was searching for the job since then,the police said.

The Whitefield police have registered a case of attempt to murder and investigation are on about why he was carrying knife said a senior officer.
