40-year-old home maker and her 13-year-old son found dead at an apartment under mysterious circumstances where they were living in Yelahanka on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Ramya and Bhargav Pulivartha .
Senior officer told reporters,the duo was found dead at their apartment after neighbours went to check on them.
Probe reveal that Ramya,from Kolar was under depression since the death of her husband Sridhar, from Andhra Pradesh, a software engineer by profession three months ago due to cancer .
She was under depression and also facing financial difficulties to manage household expenses .
We suspect that Bhargav was hanged to the ceiling to death and later his body was kept on the bed before Ramya hanged with the same knot.
She had spoken to her daughter,who was living in the Paying guest accommodation to pursue her studies on Tuesday .
Police suspect that the duo had ended life soon after that and the incident came to light on Saturday.
The police are awaiting for the post-mortem and FSL report to ascertain the cause of death for further investigation.
