Hoax mail menace continued unabated six school received threat emails in wee hours of tuesday in Bengaluru

The hoax mail menace continue unabated as many as six school received threat emails in the wee hours of Tuesday (12.20 am),claiming that bombs had been planted at their campus.

School administrative staff checked the mail later in the day and informed police .

The police along with BDDS teams reached different schools across the city and after thorough search it was declared as hoax.

According to the police,the mails sent to the official address of the schools.Luckily there were no students and only a skeletal staff at most schools were present , panicked before alerting the control room.

As part of the SOP the teams along with the jurisdictional police evacuated the premises and conducted thorough .

It may be recalled that two days back,a private hospital at Amruthahalli police station got a bomb threat.

A Senior police officer of the rank of Deputy Commissioner of police probing threat mail to the hospitals are also probing this incident .

It may be recalled that many other schools from other parts of the country also reportedly received such threat mails.
