Maharashtra’s move to implement health insurance scheme in 865 villages in border areas of Karnataka;Maharashtra should not enter Karnataka:Chief Minister Siddarammaiah

Reacting to the Maharashtra government’s move to implement health insurance scheme in 865 villages in border areas of Karnataka.Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the Chief Secretary has already instructed to Maharashtra not to enter Karnataka.

He was speaking to the media before leaving for a program to inaugurate Sainik School in Bailahongala taluk today.

65% seats for Kannada students:

Action has been taken to allot 65% seats for Karnataka students and 35% seats for others in the sainik Sainik School.

Patriotism will be inculcated in children along with quality education.Those who learn here have the opportunity to join the army,he said.

Rock Garden in memory of Sangolli Rayanna:

The government had sanctioned about 110 acres of land and grant for the construction of rock garden and museum during the previous period of our government.

The CM said that he had laid foundation then as CM and is now inaugurating it too.He appreciated everything has come out well.He said that a rock garden and a museum have been constructed here in his memory.

The party will take the decision:

Responding to Yatindra Siddaramaiah’s statement that Siddaramaiah himself will continue as Chief Minister for the next 5 years if he is able to win the highest number of seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha,he said the party leaders will take decisions on such matter.
