Implementation of the guarantee was not a challenge,Our government has political will; Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

Implementing the guarantees was not a challenge. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that our government had the political will to implement them.

He was speaking to reporters after visiting the Chamundeshwari temple today.

The opposition and the Prime Minister of the country had said that if the guarantee schemes are implemented,the state will go bankrupt.But we are successfully implementing the five guarantees.Apart from this,we will implement 76 programs mentioned in the manifesto,he said.

On May 9,the day before the election,myself and DK Shivakumar distributed the guarantee cards after seeking the blessings of Chamundeshwari.

Grihalakshmi scheme,the most significant of the five guarantees,is being launched tomorrow.The scheme is being launched in the presence of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge and M.P Rahul Gandhi.

The CM clarified that tomorrow’s programme is a government event through which 1.10 crore families will be benefitted.Women who are the heads of the households will get Rs.2000 every month.

The central government has failed to curb food price hike and inflation.Guarantee schemes were announced to help common people,middle class and financially poor families .

A family will get at least 4-6 thousand rupees per month.Economic activities will increase only if the poor have money,he said.

Griha Jyoti,Annabhagya,Shakti schemes have already been launched.He said that Grihalakshmi will begin from tomorrow.

There is no other such scheme in the country

He said that there is no other project in the country where such huge money is being spent on a single project like Grihalakshmi.

He said that 1.10 crore cards will be distributed and money will be transferred to their accounts through DBT.
