Juvenile inmate of govt.home for boys escaped after attacking security guard held by Madiwala police

The Madiwala police have track down one of the juvenile who along with two others attacked a 37-year-old security guard of the government home for boys and escaped after snatching the keys from him on Monday.

The trio charged with theft were housed in Govt. Observation Home on Market road Madiwala for rehabilitation.

The trio on Monday morning attacked security guard Sridhar with Fire Extinguisher and floor map and snatched away the key bunch before fleeing.

The injured guard was taken to the hospital before filing a complaint with the police.Based on the complaint,the Madiwala police launched a search for the escaped inmates and kept a watch at their house.

Based on a clue that one of the escaped inmate visited the house,the police rushed to his house in Halasuru and brought him back.The search for the other two inmates are on,a senior officer,said .

The police have asked the management of the observation home to revise the security audit to prevent such incidents in future.
