Another Kidnapping and Extortion complaint filed against Whitefield Division Police
The Whitefield Division Police are again in dock as a complainant by name Pratap Sethuraman from Viveknagar has complained to Home Minister of Karnataka and Commissioner of Police.
Pratap Sethuraman said in his Complaint that he was kidnapped from Tiruvannamalai district on February 6th by PSI,Rangesh,constable Harish and other five police personnel.
He said that they came in a Innova car surrounded his wife’s house as In-law’s house at midnight 2am they came and forcibly entered the house and dragged him they even not allowed him to wear shirt and immediately they took him from Sunday Vasal KK Nagar in Tiruvannamalai district.
They snatched his mobile and even took his 12,000 cash which he had and when his wife protested and questioned them they pushed them and forcibly dragged Pratap inside the car.
After taking him from his in law house PSI,Rangesh started hitting him inside the car and constable Harish also hit him with handcuffs at his back.
He blamed ACP Kishore Bharani of Marathahalli Sub-Division for this act and he was brought to HAL police station and for about 24 hours and more his family members couldn’t trace him after 24 hours they got to know that it was HAL police who took him.
His aged mother a heart patient collapsed and was taken to hospital after hearing this and his brothers rushed to HAL police station in Bengaluru.
Pratap who doesn’t have any criminal records against him till today he was picked because the office where he was working there was a land dispute matter against the office bearers he even said that when he was in custody he was made to sign in blank white sheet paper by these police personnels. ACP bharni SB Duty Constable ramesha asked his brothers to pay 1 lakh rs so they will release him, when his brothers didn’t arrange money on time Pratap was sent to judicial custody
When our team investigated this matter with other sources we came to know that another 6-7 persons were arrested in same manner and were in seven days of custody without showing their arrest.
On 7th day they were made forcibly to Sign 41(A) notice and they were sent to judicial custody.
And it is alleged that that the A1 Accused in the case is a close associate of concerned ACP,Kishore Bharani who is trying to get a favourable B report on him and he is trying to fix the innocents by filling the false PCR against the other accused in the land dispute case and to get rid off this problem .
There is lot of complaint that saying the Whitefield Division police are not issuing 41(A),notice they are kidnapping people in some cases and later collects huge amount of money from them and now Pratap Sethuraman has complained to Home Minister of Karnataka and Commissioner of Police against these officers and many complaints has been reported against the ACP,and some other police personnel of Whitefield Division.
