Let BJP implement guarantee schemes in all states of the country:Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah challenged the BJP to take a decision to implement the five guarantees in all the states of the country if it has guts.
He was speaking at the launch of Griha Jyoti Scheme, of the government today.
Do not mistrust
Stating that no one should have mistrust in the implementation of guarantees,the CM said that the opposition party is misleading the people about the schemes.
Not only the opposition,even the Prime Minister of the country has said that if the guarantees are implemented,the state will go bankrupt.
The state is not bankrupt from the guarantee schemes. It is Narendra Modi who has bankrupted this country.
Karnataka was financially secure in the past even when all its promises were fulfilled.When the BJP was in power, it looted the wealth of the state, hiked the prices, increased the problem of unemployment,and did injustice to the poor,backward and minorities of the state, he said.
*Renaming Hyderabad Karnataka- only contribution of BJP.
The Narendra Modi government,Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai government in Karnataka did not take the state forward.
Since we have fulfilled our the promises and implementing guarantee schemes,the BJP is jealous and are talking nonsense.
BJP’s only contribution is renaming Hyderabad Karnataka region as Kalyana Karnataka.
*Poverty is the worst form of violence:
The opposition party also criticized the Annabhagya programme.The anti-poor Union Government had agreed to provide rice for the scheme and later refused and has indulged in politics.
They denied 5 kg rice to the poor even when we were ready to purchase it at Rs. 34 per kg.Mahatma Gandhi had said that poverty is the worst form of violence.
We must work to eliminate the inequality between the rich and poor in the country.The Chief Minister said that the former Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa had reduced the distribution of 7 kg rice to 4 kg.
He said that there is no need to heed to the words of the opposition.Modi has taken away money from the people by increasing the prices.
The CM recalled that BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani had said that Article 371J cannot be implemented.The Congress has proved him wrong and has implemented it, he said.
We will keep our Promises
The Congress Government of Karnataka never fails to deliver. Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge have promised that the Congress government will implement the guarantee projects and the projects mentioned in the budget will be implemented at any cost, the CM assured.
