31-year-old software engineer allegedly killed his wife and two minor daughters before ending his life at an apartment in seegehalli in Kadugodi on Monday.
The police recovered the highly decomposed bodies of Veerarjuna vijay-31,his wife,Hemavathi-29,moksha meghanayana -2.5 years and shrusti sunayana,8 months old.
The incident came to light when neighbours realized foul smell emanating from the house and alerted the police.
Kadugodi Police inspector and other staff with FSL team rushed to the spot,broke open the door and recovered the bodies .
Initial probe revealed that Vijay suspected to have killed all the three before ending his life.However the police are awaiting post-mortem reports to ascertain the cause of death .
Vijay according to the police was a techie at an IT company from Andhra Pradesh.He married six years ago and the couple had two daughters .
The reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained .
It is suspected that Vijay could have killed wife & children and then he committed suicide, said a police officer .
Since the bodies have decomposed it is difficult to ascertain and only post mortem report can establish the cause of death.
