Nigerian National Drug Peddler arrested by CCB Anti-Narcotics Wing recovered 70gms Cocaine Worth Rs.10 lakhs

The CCB officials of Anti-Narcotics Wing on Monday arrested 32-year-old Mark justice,from Nigeria and recovered 70 grams of cocaine worth Rs.10 lakh from him.

The accused was caught red handed at Kadugodi while he was waiting for his customers to deliver the goods.

The accused had concealed cocaine in a specially designed chamber with a locker covered with English dictionary to make it look like he was carrying books.

Based on a tip off,a team of police pin him down and recovered the drugs.Initial probe revealed that the accused had come to city on business visa and started peddling drugs sourcing it through his contacts who are African nationals,Dr.SD Sharanappa,Joint commissioner of Police, said.

The accused has been booked under NDPS Act and investigations are on to track down his network .

In a similar incident, the Basavanagudi police have arrested a 22-year-old para medic student and recovered MDMA worth Rs.20 lakh from him.

The accused Bestin Roy,used to source the drugs from his contacts in Kerala and sell it to students in different colleges .

Based on a tip off, a team of police nabbed the accused red handed and investigating further to ascertain his network and a case under NDPS Act has been booked and further investigation is on.
