Amaravati: Somu Veerraju has been removed from the post of AP BJP state president. To this extent, the party’s national president JP Nadda called him and said. Nadda assured him that he will be given a suitable position in the party. But Somu Veerraju has not yet responded on this matter. Since 1978, Somu Veerraju has been in the BJP. He was appointed as the state president on July 27, 2020, replacing former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana.

For some time now, there has been a campaign that the BJP leadership wants to change the President of AP. Along with this, some leaders of the state have complained to the administration against Somu Veerraj. On the other hand, there have been changes in the Union Cabinet for a few days.. The BJP leadership is working on the change of presidents of various states. Assembly elections will be held in AP in next 9 months. In view of these circumstances, it is reported that the BJP leadership has decided to go to the elections with the new president. It seems that Somu got rid of Veeraraju in this order. The state BJP is likely to announce a new president by evening or tomorrow.
