Khalistan Tiger Force suffered a major setback. The chief of that company, Hardeep Singh, was shot dead by two assailants.

Khalistan Tiger Force chief, ‘Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib’ Hardeep Singh Nijjar (46) was shot dead in a gurdwara in Canada on Sunday evening. Two unidentified youths carried out the attack in the premises of Gurdwara Sahib. Hardeep will provide operational management, networking, training and financial support to Khalistan Tiger Force members. The National Investigation Agency has already registered a case against him in India and is investigating. Hardeep Singh also has close ties with Sikh for Justice. He was also involved in the recent plebiscite organized by supporters of Khalistan in Australia.

Hardeep’s social media accounts contain hate speech and images. His name was also included in the most wanted list handed over to Canada during the tenure of Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. In 2018, this list was handed over to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Many cases are pending against Hirdeep Singh in the state of Punjab as well. A red corner notice has already been issued against him. Hardeep hails from Bahar Singh Pura village in Jalandhar, Punjab state. His land was seized by the Punjab government. Currently none of Hardeep Singh’s family members are in his hometown.

Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) leader Avtar Singh Khanda (35) died last Thursday in a hospital in Britain. He is the one who helped ‘Waris Punjab De’ leader Amritpal Singh during his escape. He died in a hospital in Birmingham due to severe illness.
